The bounty of the sea – The Champlain restaurant’s Cuisine de pêche

Context of the mandate
Always searching for new experiences on land, at sea or on the plate, chef Stéphane Modat has created an exceptional fish menu as part of a special event at the Champlain restaurant, in conjunction with the exhibit on fishing at the Musée de la civilisation. Maison 1608 was hired to combine the two worlds.

Strategy
Our agency worked with the Raoul et Simone studio to match one of their artworks with the event’s signature to create a distinctive and elegant image in line with chef Modat’s cooking style. The brand image has been used in Facebook and Instagram posts, visuals for digital displays, signage, labels for jars of caviar and menus. All these elements worked together to reinforce the restaurant’s prestige while highlighting the uniqueness of their caviar and fish pantry and the chef’s creativity.
