As the biggest publisher, retailer, and distributor of board games in Canada, Asmodee was looking for an original, fun, and relevant way of showcasing its expertise both to shops and to players, whether they’re rookies or old hands.
With the first issue of its tailor-made magazine, Asmodee shows its versatility and the passion for games that drives its team. When readers open the magazine, it’s a whole world of fun possibilities that awaits them!
Moving away from the conventional catalog, Maison 1608 carried out full-blown photo shoots for the magazine, from casting extras to styling. The graphic layout was designed to reflect the fun nature of the content and showcase the features of every game, with an aesthetic capable of appealing to both consumers and distributors. The content was also used to feed a microsite inspired by the magazine. From ideation to developing the business model through art direction, content creation, photography and geo-targeted mail-outs, Maison 1608 was the mastermind behind the whole thing!
