CHIC by Le Germain, Germain Hôtels

Context
If Vogue met Condé Nast Traveler on Canadian ground, it would probably yield CHIC by Le Germain magazine (in all humility)! Drawing our inspiration from the most elegant travel and fashion magazines, we offer visitors to the Groupe Germain Hôtels establishments a way to discover Canada through the eyes of its creators, restaurant owners and artists. In every issue (bilingual, just like our beautiful country!), the hotel concierges reveal their favourite spots to enjoy a trendy vacation. Going out, eating, discovering, learning: everything is there, for every city where a magnificent Le Germain hotel can be found.
To mark the group’s 30th anniversary, we came up with a special issue for the magazine that would be at least 30 times chicer (if that’s even possible!). With its emerald and foil stamped and embossed double cover, this special issue combines the elegance of a fine art book with the readability of a magazine and showcases the most creative people and places across Canada that revolve around the famous hotel chain.

Strategy
CHIC by Le Germain came out of a shared passion for amazing encounters, favourite spots, and the curiosity to discover what makes Canada such a wonderful place to live and visit. We are in charge of the entire process, from concept to printing and distribution, through graphic design, writing and translation, leading to a biannual turnkey product elegantly embodying the Groupe Germain Hôtels values.
