The Mandate Context
A fruitful collaboration, as they say: when Maison 1608 met nutritionist Annie Ferland, it was love at first sight! They both share a passion for beauty and taste. So when Annie had three bookzines to produce, Maison 1608 was the natural choice. They combine the sophisticated look of a book and the energy of a magazine. The results are in: a cooking and nutrition book that can be eaten up like a magazine, brimming with mouthwatering photos, original recipes, and reliable nutrition tips, written in an accessible style by a group of nutritionists who are all members of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec.

Strategy
In the spirit of her blog and Facebook page, Annie Ferland wanted an elegant, colourful format, that was easy to read and whet your appetite. Maison 1608, in charge of the graphic mock-up, the publishing and project management, then cooked up a bookzine featuring an ad-free innovative format, which foodies were going to love flipping through and keeping around.
